About Sahara
We plan the crossing so you do not have to.
Sahara Auto Transport is a car shipping company based in Hollywood, Florida, moving vehicles for families, service members, collectors and businesses in every state.
Our story
Why a desert?
Crossing the Sahara has always been about preparation. Caravans that made it knew the route, carried what they needed, and trusted the people they traveled with. Shortcuts were the expensive choice.
We started Sahara Auto Transport because shipping a car too often felt like the opposite: a cheap number that changes after you book, a pickup date that slips without a call, and nobody who owns the problem. We built the company around fixing those three things.
Today we coordinate open, enclosed and specialty vehicle transport from our Hollywood, Florida office, working with a network of checked, insured carriers that cover every state, plus ocean partners for Hawaii, Alaska and international moves.
“Every Mile, Handled with Care.”
Four rules we work by
Rule 01
Say the real number
We would rather lose a booking than win it with a price no driver will accept. Our quotes reflect what carriers actually charge on your lane, so your car moves when we say it will.
Rule 02
Check before we trust
Before a carrier hauls for us, we confirm its operating authority and cargo insurance are active. Drivers who do not meet that bar do not get our loads.
Rule 03
Pick up the phone
A shipment is a handoff of something you depend on. You get one coordinator who knows your file, answers calls and texts, and tells you about a delay before you have to ask.
Rule 04
Write it down
Condition is recorded on a signed inspection report at pickup and delivery. Prices, dates and terms are in writing too, so nothing depends on memory.
Who we ship for
From one sedan to a full fleet.
Our customers include people relocating for work, service members on PCS orders, seasonal residents, online car buyers, collectors, dealerships, auction buyers, rental companies and corporate relocation teams.
